Responsibilities:
This position will be the technical leader for crash and safety analysis in Altair China.
Other responsibilities will be to promote Altair business with local automotive clients, be the liaison for global crash work supported in China, participate in crash and safety seminars and conferences, and mentor and oversee less experienced staff in executing crash and safety projects.
Requirements:
Minimum BS Engineering degree
Minimum 3 years experience in crash, 5+ years preferred.
Experience with dynamic non-linear impact with LS-Dyna required.
Specific expertise in full vehicle crash or interior safety systems preferred.
Mandarin as native language.
High proficiency with English required.
Knowledge of Japanese will be good plus.

Responsibilities:
Altair China Office IT system support, server and internet / intranet maintenance, cabling maintenance. IT related purchase support.
Requirement:
Experienced with and general comfort with Microsoft Windows platform operating systems, including Windows Server and Windows XP.
Needs ability to install, maintain, perform forensics (security analysis and data recovery) and suggest improvements in the user work environment and infrastructure.
Majored in Computer Science and Experienced with Linux-based and/or Unix-based server and client systems. This requirement leans towards distributions developed in or popularly used in China (including the excellent Red Flag Linux distribution)
Familiarity with TCP/IP (at least IPv4) inter-networking.
Experience with firewalls and network forensics.
Ability to perform base-level hardware diagnosis, exchange, and repair on computers, network hardware, and peripherals, including ability to work with service providers as needed to effect repairs.
Hard work and willing to do occasionally off hours to handle system upgrades, maintenance tasks, and failures.
