It's seasonable. PE solver is locaded inside UGII_BASE_DIR.
you need to check syslog file to see what's happening.
read installation manuals carefully and i am sure there is information called "post installation" to tell you how to link them together. roughly saying, there is an env in UG to point where is NASTRAN.
