【原创】car sketch tutorial I

havn't do car sketch ever since I got out of school, it's kind of rusted, but hope I will be just the starter and many people can follow it . and let's get this Industrial Design site more exciting.   
  
to do car sketch, I'll say the most important things is  
1: proportion
2: perspective

usally the compact and sports car will have shorter body, which in around 2.5 wheel distanse between two wheel axis
  
and bigger car will have 3.5 wheels distance.
  
I do car sketch start with wheel, it should at least easier to maintain the right proportion.

break it down, the car consist of two main cargos. so it look like a 2 retangular boxes on the side view.
  
now base on the 2 boxes, I'll sketch the car outline within the boxes...

put more details

use boxes to constract the perspectives.

use the boxes as guide to sketch more detail..

once get the proportion and perspective right, strart with your own design. maybe details on head light....
