Confers with engineering associates to clarify or resolve problems, prepares design modifications, and develops design.
Generates 3-D CAD models and documentation of new products or modifies existing documentation under the direction of
Engineering Project Team.
Completes tolerance stack-up studies of designs as directed.
Conducts Finite Element Analysis of designs and components as directed.
Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout and detailed drawings.
Confers with research and other engineering associates and prepares design modifications as required.
Coordinates and participates in global product team environments related to electromechanical assemblies, digital and analog electronic products, and electronic product test development.
Develops drawing used for all prototype builds. (AST)
Leads and/or supports TS Roles, Responsibilities, and Authorities .
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) major in Mechanical or related field
Proficient in English & Chinese:
Required to work with minimal supervision; strong interpersonal and communication skills; knowledge and comprehension of switches or electromechanical mechanisms; possess drafting ability to clealy develop ideas in the form of working drawings, as well as a knowledge of CAD programs, preferably SDRC's, I-DEAS and/or CATIA.
